Good Blog – Goodbye!
My blog-space was created for friends and foe’s to comment on my work, animation, South Africa and tiny endangered animals. Alas, all good things come to an end.
I use to think… if ever the world would come to an end and they sent the hopes for a new beginning off into space, the last person they’d take would be an animator. I mean, they’d sooner take a janitor than an animator. We serve no purpose to the future of mankind.
Since then, I’ve grown to understand the power of the narrative. God save us all.

Chameleon’s Tongue
Just as our climate is changing and we are all going to die soon, I changed my career. I’m now lecturing Animation at Open Window.
It doesn’t really impact the fact that we’re all about to die… so we made this short animated film about friendship and perseverance.

Remember Vis ‘n Tjips
2004 – 2006
In only two short years our small animation team at Threshold Collective* managed to create over 100 episodes for a 2 minute animated insert called “Vis ‘n Tjips”, and work on more than 20 commercials – in total almost 3 and a half hours of animated content. Thinking back, I still can’t believe we survived all those deadlines.
I had privilege of working on numerous animations for clients such as FNB, Discovery Health, Life Health, Kulula, Renault, Isuzu, Cell C, Jet, Chicken Licken, Chris Chameleon and many more.
